“Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of suffering.” 1 Peter 5:9

The past couple of devotionals I have been slowly walking through 1 Peter 5: 6-9. I had no idea what God was preparing me for by the time I got to verse 9. “Resist him, standing firm in the faith.” I’ve never been more glad that I put my faith in Jesus. The divine intercession of God’s goodness and peace is getting my family and I through this unexpected storm. I will courageously say, the Lord, my God, will be glorified no matter the circumstances this fallen world throws at me.


Heavenly Father, I trust you, lead the way. Amen.
